Short answers to the things shops ask before they sign up.

  • How long does setup take?

    Most shops are live the same day. OrbisX shops in about five minutes once OAuth is connected, standalone shops in about fifteen once we import your service catalog.

  • Do I need OrbisX?

    No. Magic Voice works standalone with Google Calendar, or fully on its own. OrbisX shops get the bidirectional booking sync as a bonus.

  • Is there a contract?

    No, cancel anytime.

  • How does the beta work?

    Magic Voice is in a limited beta cohort. Sign-up asks you to accept the beta terms, and you get full product access while we keep tuning. Once the cohort fills, new shops join the waitlist.

  • What if Emma cannot help?

    She takes a message with the urgency level the caller chose, and you receive it by SMS or email. She can also transfer the call to you or your team mid-conversation.

  • Can Emma transfer to me or my team?

    Yes, with a short verbal warning to the caller first so it never feels abrupt. You configure transfer numbers per service, per time of day, or per trigger reason.

  • What about complex quotes?

    You control which services get an exact quote, which get a price range, and which become a lead instead. Edit anytime in your dashboard.

  • Does Magic Voice handle voicemail?

    Pro and Shop record voicemails, transcribe them, and deliver them to your inbox. You can set custom rings-before-voicemail and per-time-of-day greetings.

  • Does Emma speak Spanish?

    Yes, on Shop. We auto-detect English and Spanish in a single call, with no menu prompt needed from the caller.

  • Can I use my own voice?

    Voice cloning is live in beta on Pro and Shop. Request access in your dashboard while we finish the self-serve upload UI.

  • What happens during after-hours calls?

    Same experience as daytime, with a clear after-hours notice. Bookings still drop into your calendar and you get the transcript, recording, and lead score by SMS or email.

  • How does Emma know my pricing?

    Onboarding pulls your service catalog from OrbisX, or imports it manually for standalone shops. You edit anytime in your dashboard and Emma uses the new prices on the very next call.
